What is a static website?
A static website is a type of website that is made up of individual web pages, each of which is designed and coded by a developer. Once the web pages are ready, they are uploaded to a web server and made available for people to view. Static websites are called "static" because the content of each page doesn't change unless it's manually updated by a developer.
Unlike dynamic websites that use content management systems like WordPress or Joomla, static websites don't have a back-end system that allows you to easily update content. This means that if you want to change something on your static website, you need to do it manually by editing the code.
Static websites are typically used for simple websites that don't require a lot of updates or interactive features. Examples of static websites include small business websites, landing pages, and personal blogs. Because static websites are simple, they can be faster to load, more secure, and easier to maintain than more complex websites.
What are the limitations?
There are a few limitations, and most of these do not apply to the majority of websites in use today.
Some features that will not be supported in a static site environment:

Which CDN provider do you use?
We use Cloudflare Pages, a globally available static site host with a global CDN.
Where is my website hosted?
Your website will be hosted on every Cloudflare node, or server. You may elect to host the site yourself on your own Cloudflare account.
